Charcoal / Black
Grey, white, or warm wood-look siding. The safest, most timeless choice — works with brick, stone, and almost any siding palette.
Matte Black
Modern white board-and-batten, light grey, or natural cedar tones. A favourite on contemporary acreage homes.
Forest / Hunter Green
Cream, beige, taupe, or natural wood siding. Reads as classic country / heritage and disappears against treelines.
Burgundy / Barn Red

A few prairie-specific tips
- • Lighter roofs reflect more summer heat — handy on south-facing slopes with limited shade.
- • Very dark roofs hide hail dings best but show frost and snow patterns more in winter.
- • Match eavestrough to the trim or soffit, not the roof — it makes the roofline read cleaner from the street.
